To avoid this, store leftovers neatly covered, try as much as possible to wash your pots and pans after cooking, and keep your kitchen bin covered and as tidy as possible.
Lizards hate the smell of lemon, vinegar, and chili powder. Imagine them mixed together, that gets you a very potent home remedy against lizards. Making the mixture is very easy. Mix powdered chili pepper with lemon juice. Stir thoroughly. Add vinegar, and continue to stir until you get a fine-coarse texture. Pour the mixture into a spray container. Now you can squirt it in places where lizards frequent to ward them off.
Tobacco is poisonous to lizards and averts them, but when mixed with instant coffee, you get the perfect coy to lure lizards and kill them. Simply mix loose tobacco with powdered coffee. Deposit the mixture in strategic places around the house. The flavour of the mixture will lure the lizards, and once they consume it, they will die because of the tobacco toxicity to them.
Rodent glue can be very effective against lizards by trapping them. Rodent glue or glue trap as many call it, comes in many forms. It can be a metal, wood, or paper smeared with non drying adhesive or glue. When placed in places lizards frequent in your home, you can trap many lizards and dispose of them. Kindly note to dispose of them as quickly as possible to avoid any reek the dead lizards may emit after a while.
