Jumia House Partners NGO For Online Marketing Training

Online real estate marketing has gained huge grounds in recent times in Ghana, with students and workers alike developing an interest in this field.

For every business, the objective of getting their name out to the public is tantamount to their survival. It is for this reason that most companies invest heavily in marketing, to complement their efforts of product and service delivery.

Traditional marketing, which involves advertising, sales promotion, publicity, personal selling, etc. have had a tremendous effect on not only the success of Ghanaian companies, but shaped the lives of all and sundry. The growing costs associated with these traditional forms led to the need to explore other ventures of marketing.

That is where online marketing comes in. This innovative form of marketing, which involves adopting similar tactics incorporated in the traditional form, uses the Internet to promote brands in Ghana and the entire world.

Jumia House, the best online real estate marketplace in Ghana, has provided a platform for buyers and sellers to transact their real estate business. Understanding the need to give back to society, Jumia House partnered with the Osei Kusi Foundation, a nongovernmental organization, to provide a platform for its beneficiaries to work and learn in an online environment.

Ishmael Oku, one beneficiary of Jumia House’s partnership program, praised the efforts made by the online real estate company, hinting that it would help him in his drive to be a content developer.

“Ever since i joined Jumia House, I have began to develop much interest into the real estate market in terms of content. One of my goals is to help [develop content for] the real estate market…some of the articles I’ve read concerning real estate shows that the market looks very promising,” he noted.

OKF launched an award scheme dubbed “The Community Service Awards” in March 2014 in conjunction with Selfless 4Africa Inc. The Award scheme is aimed at cultivating a spirit of volunteerism and community service in young people.

The scheme also seeks to encourage the youth to be selfless, innovative and commit themselves to supporting people living in deprived communities.
