Jumia House, Ghana’s best online real estate marketplace, has announced yet another milestone, reaching the 5,000 listings mark. The online real estate portal, which achieved 400 listings in less than one month of its existence has again outdone itself, with this new milestone reached within a period of seven months.
This merely shows how the real estate industry in Ghana is moving from offline to online at a record pace.
Jumia House Ghana, started operations in Ghana in November 2013, and has been going from strength to strength. The online real estate marketplace has not only provided a platform a platform for real estate business, but also connected thousands of homeowners to their dream property.
Managing Director of Jumia House, Akua Nyame-Mensah, shared her excitement at this major landmark: “We at Jumia House are proud to have reached 5,000 listings within this short period and it is testament to the hard work this team has put in. Key Account Manager at Jumia House, Ivy Kyere Yeboah, also expressed her delight about this new achievement.
“When we started, it wasn’t really that big compared to now. We’ve been through ups and downs yet the team has been very resilient and it’s been a really interesting journey.
“I’m very happy to have achieved this with the team and everyone here has been amazing,” she stated.
