Ghana’s prestigious Meqasa Home and Property Fair organised by the leading property website, meqasa.com, was launched on the premises of Goldkey Properties Limited, platinum sponsor of this year’s fair, on the 17th of March, 2022.

Counting as the fifth edition of the in-person version of the housing fair, this two-day event slated for the 4th and 5th of June, 2022, at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra, aims at bringing hundreds and thousands of property owners, real estate developers, agents, homeseekers and buyers under one roof to promote buying and selling of properties at diverse and, possibly, discounted prices.

The launch was graced by key representatives/personalities  in the real estate industry, namely, the Managing Director of Goldkey Properties Limited, Ms Fusseina Abu; the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vaal Real Estate Developers, Mr. Alaa Zayed; the Managing Director (MD) of Swami India Ghana Limited, Mr. Kantilal Hirani; and the Acting General Secretary for the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA) Mr. Samuel Amegayibor; to mention a few.

Mr. Kelvin Nyame, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-founder of meqasa.com, expressed his excitement and shared that the fifth edition of the Meqasa Home and Property Fair, as always, promises to be an excellent networking avenue while presenting the public with a wide array of exclusive discounted properties from top-tier developers in the country. “Attendees can expect nothing but amazing property deals with great discount opportunities you cannot afford to miss!”, Meqasa’s CEO, Mr. Kelvin Nyame, added.

Also speaking at the event, the MD of Goldkey Properties Limited, Ms Fusseina Abu, expressed the zeal of her company in being the lead sponsor of the Meqasa Home and Property Fair. She added that, in commemoration of the 25th Anniversary of Goldkey properties, exciting deals and offers would be made available to mark the anniversary during the housing fair.

Mr. Samuel Amegayibor, the acting General Secretary of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association (GREDA), commended Meqasa for being consistent in creating a common platform to showcase the potential of the real estate industry.

We need to make the environment friendly for the real estate business in Ghana to thrive. Prices of building materials keep rising astronomically each day and the government must step in to cushion industry players’, Mr. Amegayibor said.

The Meqasa Home and Property Fair, which shall be in adherence to all outstanding COVID-19 protocols, will make provisions for a children’s arena in order to give liberty to busy parents who attend the exhibitions showcasing many houses for sale in Accra, and the country as a whole.
