Every young person at a point in time nurses the idea of leaving their parents’ home. Which suburbs cross their minds when it comes to places of residence? What are some of the things that they look out for?

In our previous episode, Mr Micah Akati expressed interest in living at North Kaneshie or Tesano, because of the serenity and good road networks in both neighbourhoods.

In this episode, we caught up with Mr Stephen Donkor, an IT entrepreneur and founder of Inna to find out where he wants to live and the reasons influencing his decision.

Where do you live currently?

I currently live in my family house at Spintex.

Do you love it there and is there any particular reason why?

Apart from it being a very serene environment, every individual has his or her privacy which I think in this day and age is very important in our communities. I wish every other place would be so free of noise.

If you get the chance to live anywhere else, where would you relocate to?

In my old age, I would prefer to live somewhere in the mountains where the weather is quite cold and peaceful at the same time keeping me in tune with nature. Right now that I am a youth,  I don’t mind living in an apartment in an urban area like Dzorwulu.

Why do you choose an urban area?

One can have easy access to lovely hangouts and most of the things that make life easy are all here in the urban areas.

How much are you willing to spend on your apartment?

My budget is $200 – $1000 a month.

With how many bedrooms?

I would love an apartment with a two bedroom and hall.
