LG: How are they priced?

UM: The prices are determined by the kind of property you are seeking to construct. Since we want to create uniformity, we have different plans for you to choose from.

LG: How long does it take to construct a property?

UM: Depending on the cooperation of the client, we can build the property fast. We have different packages for people to choose from. If you have the funds, we can build the property within a year.

LG: Why did you choose the Shai Hills?

UM: The Shai Hills overlook Accra. It is a very quiet neighbourhood with a nice climate and it is just 30 minutes’ drive from the capital.

LG: What are the challenges you are facing as a new developer?

UM: One major challenge facing us as developers is spreading the word. People do not know much about us, so we are spending money to market our properties.

LG: What makes your homes unique?

UM: Under Milkhood is making a few adjustments. We are contributing to reversing the effects of climate change, allowing our clients to save money and even increasing our chances of selling our homes.

Currently, many people are really concerned about climate change, loss of biodiversity and the depletion of raw materials. Under Milkhood Limited offers a number of environmentally-friendly options for its buildings, such as the use of white roofs, reuse of rainwater (optional), solar panel installation (optional) and garden roofs (optional).
