The 12th Building Construction and Property Exhibition has officially come to an end in Accra. The fair which is organized annually is designed to bring together people in the industry, create a forum and provide business networking opportunities for building contractors, architects, engineers, surveyors, consultants and individuals dealing in building materials. This year’s event brought together over 70 exhibitors to the Movenpic Ambassador Hotel from Saturday, October 25th – Monday, October 27th.
Commenting on this year’s exhibition, one of the organisers said: “This year’s programme has been a success as you can see from the number of exhibitors we’ve had and I think this can be partly attributed to the change in venue from the Conference Centre to the Movenpic Ambassor Hotel.
We can also tell the exhibitors are happy about how the fair has gone overall. We are looking forward to the Homes and Interiors Exhibition next year.”
Some of the exhibitors Jumia House Ghana spoke to were excited about the fair. “We haven’t made many sales but we know that the fair is not meant only for the sales of wares. We are happy to make contacts and build on our business networks. Most of the people who visited our booths have promised to contact us after the fair so we are hopeful.”
The event ended with the presentation of certificates by the organizers to the exhibitors who took part in this year’s fair. The Building Construction and Property Fair is an annual event organized by Image Consortium. It is designed to create awareness on the importance of using the right products and services to construct, build, furnish and design your homes.
