There are, currently, 195 countries on planet earth and only a few of the countries are visa free countries for Ghanaian passport holders. Visa Free Countries for Ghana Passport Holders

According to the Henley & Partners Passport Index, the Ghana passport ranks 75 out of the 195 countries and has access to 65 visa free countries out of the 195 total. Here is a list of all visa free countries for Ghana. There are countries from every continent in the world here, which means Ghanaians can travel the world without, necessarily, having a visa.

Some of the countries do, however, require a visa on arrival and have been noted below so you can identify all Ghana visa on arrival countries within this list. Some countries also require an eTA which stands for Electronic Travel Authorisation. This can be done on the official country website and will be emailed to you once payment is made online.

Here is a list of visa free countries for Ghana on the Asian continent. A Ghanaian passport can give you access to 9 Asian countries out of 48 visa free.

Singapore is visa free for Ghanaian passport holders. You will, however, be required to keep your passport with you at all times during your stay in Singapore.

There are a total of 30 visa free countries for Ghana out of 53 countries in Africa. Africa is the continent Ghanaians can access the most since Ghana is located in Africa. We hope more African countries will become visa free for Ghana in the near future.

The United States of America, evidently, is not visa free for Ghanaians as you can deduce from this list. If you are planning a trip to the US you will need to apply for a visa.

Middle East

The Middle East comprises 16 countries out of which 3 are visa free countries for Ghana in the Middle East.

As you can see, the United Arab Emirates (where Dubai is located) is not a visa free country for Ghana. You will require a visa if you want to visit Dubai in the UAE, one of the most visited countries in the world.

After going through this list you might have noticed the absence of Europe. Are there any visa-free countries in Europe for Ghanaians? The answer is no. At the time of writing this, every country in Europe will require a visa in order to enter as a Ghanaian.
