These properties are said to be in high demand due to their potential for generating multiple streams of rental income, making them a popular choice for investors looking to maximise their returns. With the increasing trend of shared living spaces and rising population density in urban areas, multi-family units offer a lucrative investment opportunity for those looking to capitalise on the growing rental market.

What Multiple Family Units Are and Why They are in Vogue

A multifamily home is a residential property that has five or more housing units where more than one family can reside. According to technical definitions, a house that has four units or fewer is categorised as single-family housing and qualifies for typical residential loan requirements.

These types of properties are now popular in urban areas where space is limited and housing demand is high. Multi-Family homes can provide a more affordable housing option for families compared to single-family homes.

Apartments
