On May 8, 2014 Africa Internet Holding (AIH) venture Managing Directors in Ghana led a Women in Technology Nights Out discussion about E-commerce in Ghana: the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Led by Tim Burkly, Country Manager at Kaymu Ghana; Akua Nyame-Mensah of Jumia House Ghana; Yolanda Lee, Managing Director at Hellofood Ghana; Daniel Omene Managing Director of Carmudi and Baffour Appiah-Korang of EasyTaxi each spoke about the e-services their respective ventures provide and how they fit into the Ghanaian web services eco-system. The event was held at the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE) and the food was sponsored by Hellofood Ghana.
Women in Technology Nights Out is an informal networking group focused on education and enhancing women’s careers by sharing experiences and lessons learned in members’ career development. They encourage mentoring and provide excellent networking opportunities.The group meets every month and our members include business women at all stages in their careers in organisations.
