Jumia House Ghana Organizes A Workshop for Agents

The number one real estate portal, Jumia House Ghana has organized its first training for its agents this year. The aim of the training is to provide agents with the necessary skills to remain professional in their field.

The first session took participants through online marketing basis, managing internet generated leads and how to get the most out of marketing with online portals, such as Jumia House.

Leslie Nii-Akwei Addo, an aspiring agent who shared his knowledge after the session said, he is better equipped to start his own real estate  agency, “I have really learnt a lot in this class, especially for someone who is going to start an agency. I got information on how to start and be an agent – I will go round to ask for properties from my relatives and friends,” Addo says, “I will also seek permission from landlords before listing their properties,” he added.

The agents training series is Jumia House Ghana’s initiative and contribution to sanitize the sector. Paapa Kwesi Dennis, a Client Relations Officer with the company describes why the agents training is important, “we organize these trainings to keep the agents in check and also to remind them of the necessary things to do in order to be successful in the business. We take the opportunity to equip them with new tools.” He said.
