PART 1: The Sign-Up Process

  1. Type meqasa.com in your web browser’s address field. On the meQasa homepage, select ‘Sign Up’.

  1. The ‘Sign Up’ button leads you to another webpage. As you are a real estate agent click on the ‘Register to List Properties’ tab.

  1. On the next page, type in your email address and select ‘Register’.

  1. You will see a pop-up notification. Select ‘Use Google Account’ if you are a Google user. Depending on your e-mail carrier ie. Yahoo, Hotmail, etc that account option will be provided.

  2. On your e-mail log-in page, click the ‘Next’ button. Type in your e-mail password. Note that this process only seeks to confirm your e-mail. We do not see or keep your password.

  1. Click ‘Allow’ at the next interface. This is to let meQasa confirm the email address and give you access to our resourceful weekly newsletter. It also serves as an email that customers that are interested in your property listings can contact you on.

  2. In the next step, fill in the details – type out your name/company name, your phone number, your company address and choose your profile type depending on the nature of the service you provide. Provide information on the number of properties you have. Tick the ‘agree to accept terms and conditions’ box and click ‘Register’.

  3. To build your profile, you need to provide details on your business’ location, registration fees, commissions and others. Click “Create Profile”.
  4. CONGRATS! You now have a registered meQasa account and have positioned yourself for business success. A pop-up notification appears with the option to list property. Select ‘List property’ if you have any property to upload.

PART 2 : Listing Your Properties

You are now a registered agent but of course, you need to upload your properties for seekers to find them. Below we show you how easy it is to do this. It takes a little time but of course, you need to invest time in your business.

  1. Put down your property information to give the prospective renter/buyer adequate information on the available property and click ‘Next’

  2. Put in price details of the property by choosing currency, selecting how commission is charged and the applicable lease periods. Tick the boxes that apply to your property. Click ‘Next’.

  3. In the next section, a number of amenities are listed. Tick the amenities the property you have listed offers. If you are listing an uncompleted building or a property with none of the amenities provided in the option, skip this stage and click the ‘Next’ button.
  4. The next section gives you the opportunity to upload photos of the property. Ensure that the photos are of good quality. For agents to efficiently use meqasa.com, photos are the best way to sell the property. When a potential client is wow’d by pictures of the place, they are bound to call you. Click ‘Done’ to make your property go live.

  5. You are almost done! Share on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to increase visibility of the property.
