Pour in Dishwashing Soap

Yes, dishwashing soap works! Simply pour in a substantial amount of the soap into the toilet bowl. Add some hot water and allow it to absorb for some time. If it’s an utmost clog, you can leave it for a much longer period or overnight so you can get the desired results.

The dishwashing soap will lubricate the clog and loosen it, making it easy to move smoothly down the drain. You can use a bar soap in case you do not have a dishwashing soap. Just cut it into smaller portions and you’re good to go.

Use a Wire Hanger

Flush the toilet a number of times to get rid of the clog and its residues entirely. Viola! You’ve gotten rid of your clogged toilet.

Pour hot water into your toilet bowl. Do it gently to avoid any spurting. Also, beware not to use boiling water as it can cause cracks in the porcelain. Let the hot water sit for some minutes and then flush it. The hot water helps disperse the clog, making it seamlessly slide down the drain.

Now pour it into the toilet bowl. Leave it for some time, preferably between 15-20mins. Flush it down a few times to drain the clogged toilet.

If you choose to make it at home, you can do this with 2 cups of baking soda, 1/4 cup of Epsom salt, and 9 tablespoons of dishwashing soap. Stir until you have a fine-coarse mixture. Leave it to dry and harden.

When the hardened state is achieved, put it into the toilet bowl and pour a few pints of water unto it. Leave it for a while to dissolve. This should slack the clog, easing drain eventually.
