Global Packing Services: Relocating Made Easier

Relocating is inevitable. It is a common procedure that we go through at certain points in life. People move from one residence, city or country to another because of new opportunities such as new jobs, retirement or to a bigger apartment or property.

Although moving is unavoidable, a lot of movers dislike the process because they have to pack, transport their belongings and unpack them at the new location. This process is mostly described as hectic and time-consuming for a lot of people. In the process of moving, valuable items may be lost or broken or worse.

What happens if a busy professional is relocating to a different area or an entirely new country and needs to move his/her items? Several offices and businesses change their location from time to time to accommodate their expansion and they mostly need people to move their items. Are there reliable moving companies who can easily sort out the process and make it less stressful for movers? How can the issue of moving house be made easier?

This is the job description of Global Packing Services. For the past 15 years, the company has moved individuals, both nationals and expatriates, and businesses to different locations in Ghana, Africa and the world.

Freight Forwarder and Packing Solutions

“We deal with offices, expatriates, homes etc. We move items by road to Togo, Nigeria, Cote D’Ivoire and other nearby countries. We also do freight forwarding for individuals looking to send items overseas,” says the Operations Manager of Global Packing Services, Simon Sarpong.

With top clientele, like Glo Ghana and Huawei, Global Packing Services has carved a niche among moving and shipping companies by providing quality services to their customers. “Our goal is the customer’s satisfaction. We make sure we do what they want.  Moving is not about just dumping your things in a truck. Instead, your items must be protected,” says Mr. Sarpong.

Global Packing Services ensures your items are protected when being transported .  Depending on the nature of the items that are being packed, they put them in cartons or crates and ensure valuable items are properly kept safe in the truck.  Even though some items get delayed when being relocated, Global Packing Services have never lost a shipment, “All items we transport have reached their destinations,” Sarpong added.

If customers demand insurance for their items, Global Packing Services has a partnership with an insurance company. The moving company does not only pack your items  for shipment, but they also unpack them upon arrival.

The company is currently located in Osu and Baatsona, Accra. They have over 20 employees, headed by Isaac Ekow Johnson. Additionally, they own four huge trucks.

The next time you are looking to relocate, do not stress yourself; just call Global Packing Services to move your items.
