Contemporary colours are bright. Choose yellow for the walls, green for the cabinets and red for the roof. Contemporary homes have concrete or tiled floors; wooden panels are almost absent in the modern-styled room.

Furniture are plastic or leathery and are themed with the colours of the room. To avoid over-crowding, decor pieces are almost absent in the contemporary styled homes.
