3 Ways To Get Cozy During 3 1

As you already know, the raining season is here and with it comes the time to bring out our pullovers, sweaters and other warm clothes to keep us extra cozy and warm. You wouldn’t want to catch a case of the sniffles, would you?

The rainy season is particularly exciting for some people as it heralds lower temperatures, meaning no sun burns and excess sweat! The soothing sound of rain, they say, makes one want to get cozy and lay in bed all day long.

It is, indeed, the season of dreams and fantasy. The season where many may appreciate the day, be it morning or night, even at work or at home. It, equally, makes us thankful that we are safe and sound with a roof over our heads and not out there braving the vagaries of the weather.

Even though there is no particular season for buying a property, it’s deemed wise to schedule a viewing during this season. It could help you discover if the neighbourhood you’re considering is flood-prone or overly muddy when it pours heavily.

As indicated earlier, the wet season comes with cold weather. It is advisable to achieve maximum coziness while enjoying the lazy mood the season presents. These tips will be of some use.

FIND COZY BLANKETS AND PYJAMAS

The weather is, indeed, fruitful in the city especially at this time of the year. You can take advantage and create the right sleep environment by considering the right light, pyjamas and a blanket. That can be the difference between some intermittent dozing off and a full long night’s sleep.

In addition, if you are easily susceptible to catching a cold, then you should choose sleepwear that feels good. Avoid the slippery feel of silk, consider the soft feel and lightweight of the fabric cotton which helps to regulate the body temperature, especially at night.

CUDDLE SEASON

So let’s say you do not have that perfect cozy blanket, pyjamas and such. Well option two could be cuddling. Cuddling and getting cozy on a cold day in your room with your significant other can make for memorable times. This could be the absolute best thing to do on a rainy day.

Unlike the previously believed, cuddling can be done with whomever you feel comfortable with: a significant other, pet or even your children. When done with children, it’s a perfect time to read a bedtime story or better still a simple bonding moment for the family.

Who needs a heater, sweater or blanket when bodies close to each other and sharing warmth with one another is the perfect way to combat that cold?

DRINK HOT BEVERAGES AND EAT SPICY FOODS

For my tea peeps, that season is finally here! Make yourself your favourite beverage: tea, hot cocoa (or whatever else you enjoy) in a big mug and enjoy the warmth.

If you’re up for it, you can never go wrong with a warm bowl of soup or any of your favourite hot spicy noodles from that restaurant near you.

We can all agree that the rain is vital for the food we eat and plant life. Even though it may inconvenience us when it interferes with or interrupts plans/programs, the clear skies, humid atmosphere, the full streams, rivers, waterfalls makes it a contributing factor to our survival and makes nature beautiful.

Embracing the beautiful season and making sure warmth is achieved at all times with these three simple tips will go a long way for you to enjoy the season.  Let us know, in the comments, how the season treats you!
